Bill Ramsey is creative director of The Pulse, Chattanooga's Weekly Alternative. The new year brought staff reductions that found me assuming a dual role as both editor and art director of the paper, while still designing ads—not unusual at a small weekly, and both challenging and taxing. The paper continues to evolve editorially and design-wise.
