PRINT DESIGN
At my professional core, I’m a print designer — with editorial design for newspapers and magazines a particular focus passion. I began my newspaper career as an illustrator and cartoonist before moving into layout and design in the pre-Mac era of paste-up. Along the way, I’ve occupied almost every chair in the newsroom at half a dozen diverse publications, but it’s behind the monitor (and sometimes at the drafting table) as a designer where I thrive.
